On 9th October, we visited our member Lufthansa German Airlines in Kastrup and had a glance behind the scenes of the largest German airline.
Around 4 billion passengers were carried by civil air transport worldwide in 2017. That number is forecast to double until 2037.
However, the airline industry faces some challenges. Concerns about climate change have resulted in what has become known as "Flight shame”. Less known is another change, the airline industry is undergoing: Distribution processes and structures are changing dramatically.
