Green hydrogen has emerged as a crucial element in the transition to a sustainable and low-carbon energy future. With Germany’s increasing demand for green hydrogen imports and Denmark’s aspirations to become a significant exporter, the synergy between the two presents immense opportunities for collaboration. Both countries share production potentials through the North Sea, and harnessing the power of hydrogen can drive economic growth, energy security, and environmental sustainability.
The 2 November German-Danish Chamber of Commerce explored together with industry experts the pivotal role of hydrogen in the German-Danish context and its potential to transform the energy landscape. The afternoon was facilitated by the German Embassy in Copenhagen.
The panel consisted of industry experts from Rambøll, Ørsted, BASF, and Gasunie.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
