A coffee with Scandlines
On 4 June 2024 Michael Guldmann Petersen, CEO at Scandlines, joined Andreas Wenzel for a coffee and shared his insights. Scandlines has the world's largest fleet of hybrid ferries and is a frontrunner in sustainable ferry operations. Since the deployment of the double-ended ferries on the Fehmarn Belt, Scandlines has reduced CO2 emissions by more than 50 percent. Later this year, the ferry operator will deploy its first zero direct emissions ferry with the world’s largest battery bank on the Puttgarden-Rødby route.
