CIRCULAR 2035

The CIRCULAR 2035 conference took place on 8 October 2026 in Aabenraa, organised by Invest in Aabenraa. 

The green energy transition is not only about reducing emissions but also about creating new industrial ecosystems and developing sustainable infrastructure. The conference highlighted how sector coupling, circular solutions and renewable energy can create new opportunities for growth and strengthen Europe's energy independence.

A central focus of the programme was Aabenraa Circular, a green and circular industrial symbiosis connecting energy production with new industrial value chains. With the Power-to-X facility in Kassø and the development of Denmark's largest transformer station, the initiative served as a practical example of how renewable energy, industrial cooperation and circular solutions can support the green transition.
