On 11 June, the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce hosted a roundtable at Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen on Navigating EU Policy 2025 – Regulatory Trends and Business Impacts.
The discussion focused on the ongoing legislative developments at EU level and how these shape the political and economic landscape for cross-border businesses. With Denmark set to assume the EU Council Presidency in 2025 and a new German government in office, the event highlighted several key political and regulatory initiatives currently underway.
Freya Lemcke, Managing Director of the DIHK Representation to the EU, provided a comprehensive overview of current policy debates in Brussels. Drawing on her deep experience in European economic policy, she outlined trends relevant to internationally active companies.
Following her presentation, Lukas Lausen from Danish Industry and Andreas Geertsen from the Danish Chamber of Commerce offered their reflections and contributed to a insightful discussion among the participants.
Thank you to all speakers and participants for contributing to an engaging and forward-looking exchange.
