The event Stronger together – growing across borders took place on 20 November 2025 in 
Harrislee, Flensburg, in collaboration with our Tax Partner DanTaxLegal.

The event highlighted the strong economic partnership between Germany and Denmark, where close trade relations and growing cross-border business opportunities create new prospects for companies. It brought together small and medium-sized enterprises as well as advisors from both countries who are looking to expand across the border – whether through acquisitions, joint ventures, new company formations, or succession processes.

Legal and tax experts provided practical insights into navigating both markets, presented key strategic approaches, and discussed how cross-border cooperation can generate long-term value. Particular attention was given to opportunities in the Schleswig-Holstein region, where the border acts as a bridge between markets.

Key focus areas included:

• Dual-Track Strategies: Combining acquisitions and organic growth to enter the German market.
• Business Succession: Leveraging succession opportunities in Germany as an entry point for Danish companies.
• New Company Formation: Understanding the legal, financial, and operational steps involved in starting a business in Germany.
