Digital Sovereignty in Action: Lessons from Germany and Denmark

Digital Sovereignty in Action: Lessons from Germany and Denmark took place on 24 June 2026 at the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce in Copenhagen in collaboration with Dansk Erhverv. 

As digital technologies become increasingly central to economic competitiveness and public services, topics such as data governance, cloud infrastructure and regulatory frameworks are gaining importance across Europe. 

The programme featured perspectives from both the public and private sectors. Participants gained insights into practical experiences from Schleswig-Holstein, discussed the ongoing development of the cloud market and examined the role of regulation in ensuring fair competition and flexibility for cloud users.
